In 2009, when multi-award-winning singer-songwriters Amy Fairchild and Carla Ryder decided to combine their voices and join forces to start a band, Miriam was born.

SondorBlue is an indie-rock band out of Charleston, SC comprised of three lead vocalists. Their sound combines a refreshing classic touch with a modern flare. When each voice comes together to create the three-part harmonies that are carefully woven into each of their songs, a magical fourth voice is created that is uniquely SondorBlue. With influences that range from Coldplay, Dr. Dog, Ed Sheeran, Tame Impala, to the Beatles, Half Moon Run, The Fleet Foxes, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, their emotional songs have won them fans of all ages.

Ship of the Sun celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead with a fun, free-wheeling, danceable show that pays tribute to the sounds of rock & roll’s most unique band.
Ship of the Sun came together in 2015 around each member’s love of the songs, spirit, and improvisation adventurousness of the Dead.

He an in demand session and live musician, playing and recording with Kate Taylor, Bow Thayer, Kris Delmhorst, Matt Keating, Treat Her Right, and Todd Thibaud. His production credits include The Cambridge-Somerville All Stars, American Thread and The Blue Ribbons.
