Friends, we here at The Blue Ribbons Propulsion/Stagnation/Existential Laboratories would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all y’all who have been coming out to TOAD on Tuesday nights. It truly is a beautiful thing to be together sharing the moment, even if that moment is loud and confusing sometimes. Thank you for listening, dancing, loving it, hating it, ignoring it…the important part is that we are all agreeing to be together for a few hours being human.

Beginning on stage at TOAD in Cambridge, MA during a weekly residency in March of 2009, Baker Thomas Band has always been an eclectic collection of musicians and good friends getting together to make great music and have a blast. With anywhere from 7 to 10 and even more musicians on stage, the BTB is a wrecking ball of good times and great tunes

Singer/songwriter, Mark Cutler combines powerful lyrics with memorable melodies and driving rhythm. He spins tales about men who drink alone or hover over a lover. He sings stories about ghosts, midget wrestlers, walking in the woods, being remembered, just being alive, and getting used to this.
Boston rock band with an eclectic sound. Dylanesque lyrics set to catchy rock guitar. Occasional hints of Stones and Replacements. Eric Salt & The Electric City’s live shows can approach a Springsteen explosion and captivate audiences with their raw power.

A graduate of Bentley University, Greg Adams earned a degree in Management and Environmental Studies. He also pursued an extra-curricular music education outside of the classroom, training under professional artists who studied at the Berklee College of Music. His first gig was a student showcase at a local pub where he channeled stage fright into a passionate performance, and ultimately found his true calling.
Boston based Singer/Songwriter Jay Psaros writes songs. In fact, he writes lots of songs. Psaros is currently celebrating the release of his fourth studio release, a self titled collection of ten songs ranging from mellow crooners to roots rockers. Psaros has developed a healthy career with the belief that music, like any art, must be created through a lifestyle dedicated to the craft in order for the art and artist to reach their full potential.
More triva! Peter Wolf, whose brilliant Midnight Souvenirs—released in 2010—included David Johnston’s “I Don’t Wanna Know.” This song went on to become the second single from that album, and was performed on the David Letterman Show in June of 2010.
