Beginning on stage at TOAD in Cambridge, MA during a weekly residency in March of 2009, Baker Thomas Band has always been an eclectic collection of musicians and good friends getting together to make great music and have a blast. With anywhere from 7 to 10 and even more musicians on stage, the BTB is a wrecking ball of good times and great tunes

David Johnston is a regular fixture in Harvard Square. You can find him on just about any sunny afternoon with his old Gibson guitar, his signature black jeans, black hat, and a white bucket to catch the dollar bills —
Martha Bourne is a Boston-based singer/songwriter originally from North Carolina. Her original material grazes the fields of Southern Gothic and Americana
The Blue Ribbons was formed by singer/songwriter/keyboardist James Rohr.
They have been building a base of devoted fans withtheir original and soulful music.
Described as
“Ray Charles and Tom Waits on a pirate ship with Sun Ra and Captain Beefheart,” they
combine “upbeat disillusionment and celebratory fatalism with musicianship” – Charan Devereux;Boston Globe.
Luddy Mussy is colorful, almost cartoonish music made by lunatics. With eccentric takes on genres ranging from blue, modern rock, surf rock & folk, Luddy serves up an original little something for any musical palate.

Mike Hastings Band are lyrically based roots rockers that have built a solid reputation by playing super fun live shows at many of the areas best venues . . .
The Swinging Steaks have appeared with John Fogerty, Hank Williams,Jr., the Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Poco, Los Lobos, Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Paul Westerberg, The Band, Jason and the Scorchers among others and have toured extensively on their own.
My Mother’s Moustache lists some of their influences as: The Decembrists, John Butler Trio, The Police, Dave Matthews Band, Barenaked Ladies, Leftover Salmon, Rusted Root.

Did you know that Martha Bourne studied Film Scoring/Composition at Berklee College of Music?
She also recently taught guitar at Girls Rock Campaign Boston
and many people in the community that Martha’s originally from North Carolina and makes killer biscuits . . . !

Over the course of his career, Big Ben Hillman has shared the stage with a host of diverse and well known musicians including hip hop stars Method Man and Ghostface Killa from the Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Biz Markie, Digable Planets and Mix Master Mike of The Beasty Boys. He has also been seen performing
Double D & The Bluesmakers‘ songs are anchored by a riff that grabs you by the bones, and a groove that’ll keep you dancing all night.
